Jazz Fest Weekend
This weekend, July 13-15th, a largely anticipated event is taking place! Sioux Falls' Jazz and Blues Society's JazzFest! This highly attended event is a sure sign of summer in Sioux Falls. 2017 will be the events 26th year! Festival goers are entertained by live music, arts and crafts, fireworks, food and beverage vendors and more. The event kicks off Thursday July 13th at 6:30 PM. Music continues throughout the 3 day event on 3 different stages throughout the park. Headliners include Joey Leone's Chop Shop, Marchfourth, Burlap Wolf King, Brandon Sprague Band, Robert Cray Band, Matthew Curry, Arlie's All Stars, Johnson McKinney, Hadden Sayers, Dotsero, Sena Ehrhardt, Johny Lang, and many more! The Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society puts on the event as fundraiser and to increase awareness of jazz and blues music in the area. The event is free to the public to attend. Parking is limited and there is a $10 fee to park inside Yankton Trails Park. If you are interested in taking the JazzFest shuttle into the event, the shuttle runs from Lincoln High School Thursday from 5 PM-11:00 PM and Friday from 5 PM-12:30 AM. Saturday shuttles run from Lincoln High School, Roosevelt, and Augustana University from 11:00 AM-12:30 AM. Shuttle fee is $4 per person.
